Word broke out this morning that NBA player Matt Barnes took to Twitter and addressed a fan of his ex-wife and Basketball Wives L.A. star Gloria Govan. The fan tweeted about how Gloria was too good for Matt, and that set him off real quick.

Matt angrily shot back with, “B*tch stay outa my business, get ur own life” in a direct Twitter message to the fan.

Personally, I don’t know where Matt gets off calling a female a b*tch; especially one who is just trying to show some love and uplift his ex Gloria. That’s what females do!

As a female myself, I know that we tend to be more emotional and sensitive human beings than men. A lot of us are really stubborn too! We might need to hear about how right we are, before we can realize how wrong we were. Just because she said that Gloria is better than Matt, doesn’t mean that Matt should be throwing harsh names out there. That female fan was just doing what a lot of us girls do after a bad break up!

I think it’s ridiculous that he wants to tell people to mind their business about his and Gloria’s situation. Isn’t Matt the same guy who recently put out a statement revealing that Gloria had an affair with one of his friends? Didn’t he talk about how they faked some aspects of their relationship for the show?

Once you put that kind of juice out there for the public to read about, there’s no turning back. You have invited people to look into your relationship, and given them the freedom to judge.

I think Matt must just be mad that Gloria has been getting more love and support from the break up from fans than he has, even if he tried to defame her in his statement. I know he’s been getting a lot of criticism after she discussed the relationship many times while she starred on “Basketball Wives LA”. Fans are mostly seeing Gloria’s side of the story, and that leaves Matt to look like the bad guy. I can see why he might be angry, but that’s still no excuse to talk to a female like that!

Despite what went on between them, Matt needs to understand that all of this hate and love comes with the territory once you get that first check from the NBA. Twitter can be one big support group, or one giant bully. Lashing out at fans who say things you disagree with, however, only makes you a bully too.

So Matt Barnes, seriously, who you callin’ a b*tch?
