Elementary, my dear Watson!
Some of our favorite looks on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows at Regency Village Theatre in L.A., belonged to Amber Heard, Rachel McAdams and the film’s director Guy Ritchie.
Amber, of course, looks perfect in Valentino, while Miss Rachel McAdams was gorgeous in a flowing Marchesa scooped back down.
We loved Ritchie’s three piece tweed suit with teal bow tie, a great example of English dressing.
Robert Downey, Jr., who plays Sherlock in the burgeoning franchise was a disappointment, however. Downey looked like Buick car salesman from the 1970s trying to pass off a lemon. This is disappointing because he looked incredible on the fall cover of GQ Style, styled Nicola Formichetti. That story was meant to launch him into a the canon of American style. Sad face at Downey’s look.
Another look we weren’t feeling was Pharrell Williams. Dude, come on!
Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows hits theaters December 16th.
