Titled Commander in Chic: Every Woman’s Guide to Managing Her Style Like a First Lady, the book focuses on First Lady Michelle Obama and her chic style.
The book has been on shelves since the end of November and not many people have heard or seen it, until now.
Here’s what the $26.99 cost of the book will buy: more than 90 photos of style ideas, information on where and when to shop, and what to buy — including a must-have list of Obama’s favorite things.

Taylor first met the future First Lady in 2006 for a power story that was to be published in Essence. Two years later, Taylor sat with Obama in her Chicago home discussing direction for an Essence cover story, one that resulted in the family’s first national magazine cover. Since then, Taylor said she has continued to critically observe Obama, visually documenting her journey as First Lady.
