STORY: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Sentenced!

According to the Associated Press, Floyd paid a fine of $1000 to avoid trial and jail time. The payoff was for a 2010 November incident in which Floyd got into a scuffle with a homeowner association security guard in front of his multi-million dollar Nevada mansion.

This is a big win for Floyd, who is scheduled to begin a 90 day jail sentence on January 6th, 2012 for an unrrelated incident.

STORY: Floyd Mayweather Makes ‘Em Go Night, Night! Bottom Line

Floyd is definitely no friend of the law.

He pleaded guilty on December 21st to battery domestic violence, after an incident in September 2010 in which he punched on his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris in front of their two children age 9 and 10.

It’s a shame that a guy with so much talent has gotten into criminal trouble that could have been easily avoided.

Hopefully he learns a lesson from this!
