Don’t let the door hit where the good lord split ya!

That’s the message Texas Governor Rick Perry and Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann are receiving today after getting a shackling in the Iowa Caucuses last night.

STORY: He Said What?!? Rick Santorum “I Don’t Want to Make Black Lives Better”

Bachmann announced that she is suspending her Presidential bid for the White House, while Perry is running back to Texas with his tail between his legs to “reassess his campaign.” Translation: “I’ll be quitting in a couple days.”

There were many highs and lows from each of the candidates – but mostly lows.

Remember Herman Cain and his train of women? Or how about Bachmann constantly being accosted by kids about gay rights? And we can’t forget Perry trying to hide the fact that he hunted at a camping ground called “N*ggerhead.”

But the most memorable moment came from former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum. Before his loss at the Iowa caucuses last night, Santorum spoke with a group of constituents about black people and welfare.

Here’s what he said:

“I want to give them the opportunity to go out and earn their money and provide for themselves and their families. The best way to do that is to get the manufacturing sector of the economy rolling.”

A slew of racist and homophobic comments from this field of Republican nutcases are what people will remember most about this current GOP Presidential run.

Let’s take a look back at some of the most shocking quotes from the race thus far.
