Eminem is not only nominated for eight MTV Video Music Awards but it has just been announced that the rapper will be the awards opening act.
MTV’s general manager Stephen Friedman confirmed that Eminem would be the first act of the night stating ‘we thought that there’s no better way to kick off the show than a performance from eminem’.
This is not Eminem’s first run as the opening act for the MTV Video Music Awards. You might remember seeing Eminem as the opening act In 2000 when the VMA’s were held at Radio City Music Hall. Is it possible for him to top that memeorable performance?
