Former Philadelphia McDonald’s employee Karruim Demaio has grossed us out once again with the release of a video recorded back in November of a mouse scurrying around in a bag full of hamburger buns.

Karruim told MyFox Philly that “it wasn’t his first time” seeing a rodent in the McDonald’s storage room. He stated that it was his 6th or 7th time seeing mice in the McDonalds fast food restaurant. Karruim spoke on the incident saying:
“I was going back there to get something else and I heard some rustling, so I turned around, and I look, I seen a mouse inside the bread. Not on top of the package, but inside of the package.”
Karruim, who was fired recently for “poor performance” also, spoke on there being mice feces on the McDonald buns:
“I was working there from October of 2010 to January of this year. There hasn’t been a time when we couldn’t go in the back and see mouse droppings on the bread.”
When asked why he waited this long to alert authorities and the media about the issues, he said he had a family to provide for.
The owner of this particular McDonald’s franchise Ken Youngblood, released a statement saying:
“After viewing the video, we are going to continue to investigate this claim to make certain we have all the facts. I want my customers to know that I am taking this matter seriously and will immediately address any issues that may exist. Therefore, if necessary, we will work with the appropriate authorities to get the facts.”
This is completely disgusting! We hope McDonald’s investigates and fixes this issue.
