Halle Berry was almost able to sleep better at night.
The actress’ crazed stalker was reportedly just sentenced to 386 days in jail, but there’s been a change in plans.

Mad man Richard Franco, who was arrested after trying to scale the wall outside Berry’s home, served 193 days and was sentenced to serve the remainder of his sentence.
But the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office released a statement that he will not serve any additional jail time, despite only completing half of his sentence.

The D.A. didn’t specify why Franco was released, but TMZ reports it’s most likely a combination of good behavior and overcrowding in L.A. jails.
Hopefully Franco has learned his lesson and will leave Ms. Berry alone, but we’re sure Olivier Martinez is down to protect his lady by any means necessary.
