According to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, who brought a lawsuit against the Justice Department demanding the release of images from the raid under the Freedom of Information Act, the videos and photos may be released.

Dan Metcalfe, former director of the Department of Justice’s Office of Information and Privacy, told The Atlantic Wire that according to the government’s lawsuit, there are parts of the records that are “legally required to be disclosed.”

ABC News reports that there are over 50 graphic photos of a deceased Bin Laden, which include a gruesome pic of the bullet wound of his head.

Last May, U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six raided Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, killing the then-Al Qaeda leader and one-time most wanted man in the world.
