South African rap trio Die Antwoord is coming to NYC!
The hip-hop band, consisting of members Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek, came together in 2008 and released their debut album $O$ in 2003.
Their hit single and video “Enter The Ninja” gained them popularity all over the dot com – driving millions of fans to click over to their official Die Antwood website, breaking the server.
The hype subsequently earned the group a MySpace award for “Best Music Video of 2010.”

Though the trio was initially signed to Interscope Records in 2012, the band quickly parted ways with the UMG label in 2011 and partnered with Zef Recordz.
Their sophomore follow-up album Ten$ion, which was digitally released on January 29th, ranked the rap-rave group in the top twenty on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Their sound is fresh, funk and fun, and is making its way to NYC’s Irving Plaza this Saturday, February 11, 2012 – the third stop on their 13 city U.S. tour!
