Welcome back to the work week. We hope that you had a great weekend and that you are refreshed and energized to take on everything the new week can throw at you. Some of us are not “Monday” people at all and it takes some time for us to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully we can help with today’s installment of Dollars & Sense. Today we have a couple of things for you to do that won’t cost you one red cent, after all it is No Money Mondays!

Wells Fargo History Museum:

Wells Fargo is California’s oldest ban and their museum features a collection of Gold Rush memorabilia that is just as old. It gives a good history of banking in California. You’ll find gold nuggets, an old telegraph machine and a Concord stagecoach, built in 1867, plus historical photos. Admission is completely free but the museum closes at 5pm so make sure you get there early.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Avoid ATM Fees

Be aware of the ATM withdrawal fees charged by your bank. While some banks waive fees for all ATM transactions on any ATM machine, most don’t. So be sure to use only those ATM machines where your bank will not charge the fees, or withdraw directly at your bank.
