Last night during his return to the Knicks after a four game leave, Amar’e Stoudemire returned to the paint sporting some new ink.
After his four game absence to mourn his brother’s death, the New York Knicks forward showed up last night ready to play with a small teardrop tattooed near his eye.
The tattoo is a dedication to his late brother Hazell, who recently passed away in a car accident involving a tractor-trailer.
After the fourth-quarter comeback win, Amar’e took to his Twitter page to dedicate his game, and his tattoo to his big bro, tweeting “That game was for you Bra (Hazell Stoudemire Jr.) forever crying inside. Love You!”
In his dedicated game, Amar’e finished with 21 points and 9 rebounds.
