Iran has moved a step closer to full nuclear development!

STORY: WHAT! Iran Planning To Launch Terrorist Attack On America?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has lived up to his promise that he would make a nuclear announcement regarding Iran’s nuclear progress.

STORY: GLOBAL CRAZY! Car Bombs Explode Targeting Israeli Diplomats

As reported by the Associated Press, today Ahmadinejad went live on Iranian state TV; broadcasting a ceremony in which Iran displayed their technical achievement, which is producing their first nuclear fuel rod used in a research nuclear reactor located in Isfahan, Iran.

This development is tremendous for Iran considering they have been banned, as a result of Western sanctions, from buying nuclear fuel rods on the global market.

Iran is insisting their nuclear development is for peaceful purposes only, though Western nations and the United States maintain that Iran is on a path of the full development of nuclear weapons.

Iran’s nuclear announcement comes after it declared its halt of oil exports to the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France, Greece and Portugal last Wednesday.

Israel, whose relationship with Iran has been hostile, threatened the use of military airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities if their developments are not put to a halt. The United States, along with many other Western nations, have recommended Israel hold off on attacks and let sanctions of Iran do the job.

The NY Daily News has also reported that Iran is a potential threat to NYC. New York Congressman Peter King, who is head of the House’s Homeland Security Committee, said, “New York is the No. 1 target,” King said. “New York has all the targets that terrorists want.”

In addition to King’s warning, last month Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said Iran may strike the United States directly because of “real or perceived U.S. actions that threaten the regime.”

This could all be perceived as very frightening. We hope that Iran and Western nations resolve their issues without resorting to violence and the possibility of lost lives.
