Somebody needs to call PETA ASAP!

The Petco pet supply chain is being sued after one of their groomers cut off part of a puppy’s ear and then tried to cover it up by gluing it back on, claims the store’s owner.

Gladys Kapuwi is now suing the firm, claiming she took her Pomeranian-Maltese mix Dodo to Petco in Hawaii for a grooming, but was left shocked when the puppy was returned with a piece of its ear missing.

She told the HawaiiNewsNow website:

“She was dried, bloody, was dry blood, everything. I noticed that at home, so when I took her to the vet, the doctor had told me it looked like they tried to glue it back. I couldn’t believe what they did. I started crying because this is our baby, too, you know.”

In a separate incident, Estelle Green, another pet owner, claims she picked up her dog to find that the nails were cut too short and bleeding.

Another pet owner came forward saying that Petco mutilated their dogs also.

Vanessa Knapp of Kailua says her dog, Hurley, was injured while being groomed at Petco in Kaneohe.

“My sister took my dog out to the car. Basically, when we got out there, I noticed that his testicles were bleeding,” she said.

Knapp says she instructed the groomers to avoid that area because Hurley had just gotten over a virus.

“He was very sensitive down in that area, so I explained that to them, please don’t touch this area, don’t cut it,” she said.

Both dog owners are now suing the Petco with Green’s husband Michael Green prosecuting both cases.

Both claim groomers at the pet shop mutilated their dogs.

Petco has a serious case on their hands, PETA will most likely join the Green’s fight.
