In one of their lamest moves yet, the folks at the notorious Westboro Baptist Church promised to picket Whitney Houston’s funeral, claiming that the star died because she disobeyed God.

One of their leading voices, church leader Margie Phelps, tweeted that the protest was ‘rocking the house’ and showed a
picture of people waving signs saying ‘God hates fags’ outside the funeral in New Jersey.
Turns out they weren’t at the funeral at all, instead, they used Photoshop to make it seem as if they were there.
The church, which blames most of society’s problems on homosexuality, often pickets high-profile funerals, such as those of celebrities and soldiers who have died in war.
According to the NJ Star Ledger, the area that was supposedly being protested by the WBC was blocked off by police.
The paper’s reporters also said there was no sign of protests in that area at all.
Last year the church said it would launch protests at the funerals of Steve Jobs and Christina-Taylor Green, the nine-year-old girl killed in the Tucson shooting in January.
