Ever since Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger stepped down from the X-Factor judges’ panel, the rumor mill for their replacements has been on full force.
First Mariah Carey, then Beyonce were rumored to gain $100 million for the gig, then pop princess Britney Spears and finally sexy siren Janet Jackson. One after another, show creator Simon Cowell shut down the hype.
However, Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne just might take her position in one of the two hot seats. It’s been reported that Lavigne has instructed her camp to “reach out” to X-Factor producers about possibly using her for the reality competition show.
Considering the fact that L.A. Reid used to mentor the singer early on in her career, Avril could very well be next up!
