Today’s tribute for Throwback Thursday deservedly goes to The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Elements of their personal style is are at a peak right now, expressed both on the runway and in entertainment.

Flat top haircuts, bomber jackets, bright graphic prints, color blocking and even Jazzy’s glasses were geek chic early!

Today they inspire rappers The Cool Kids, M.I.A., Santigold and fashion designers such as agiandsam.

Even the original graffiti artwork in the opening sequence of the show and their album covers is often copied.
