Madonna is the “Queen of Pop,” and when you’re the queen, holding and breaking records is nothing new. But sometimes breaking a record may not be a good thing.

DETAIL: MADONNA BACK! “MDMA” Goes Number 1 On Billboard!

Madonna’s twelfth studio album MDNA debuted on the charts at number one, selling a whopping 359,000 copies in its first week.

But with success comes failure.

Madonna’s MDNA went from selling almost a half a million units in the first week to selling roughly 46,000 the second week – making it the biggest second week drop in chart history.

The dramatic decrease is possibly a result from units that were included in the sale of concert tickets, which boosted her sales considerably.
