Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly had an opportunity to talk with Trayvon Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton about the ongoing case of George Zimmerman – the man who shot and killed her unarmed teenage son.

On The O’Reilly Factor, Fulton faced off with O’Reilly as he questioned her about the public “rush to judgement” against Zimmerman.

While expressing sympathy for her loss, O’Reilly also questioned the involvement of various civil rights leaders, including Rev. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

As O’Reilly told Ms. Fulton and Ben Crump, the family attorney who sat by her side:

“I can’t imagine the pain you go through. So I think all Americans are feeling your pain. And we all want justice in the case…From the beginning, we’ve just called for calm. Let the system work. Let’s not convict Zimmerman on television. Let’s not make these wild charges.”

Fulton defended Sharpton, stating that he also wants peace:

“We’ve never asked for anyone to do anything out of the ordinary.”

O’Reilly continued to attack Ms. Fulton, stating that he would like for Sharpton to apologize, to which Trayvon’s mother said:

“You want me to comment on that? I don’t know everything that’s behind it. I haven’t been watching a lot of the news. And I haven’t been watching what everyone was saying. So I’m not sure what response you want.”

O’Reilly’s attack did nothing to help the case of Trayvon, only shifting the conversation to something so insignificant. O’Reilly wants Sharpton to apologize as if he hurt him personally. Take a look at how it went down.
