If you didn’t see Think Like A Man yet, we definitely advise you to go now – whether you are a man or a woman, it’s just an overall funny film that almost anyone can relate to.

DETAILS: “Think Like A Man” Already Made How Much At The Box Office?!

The movie was originally aimed at African Americans, 13-49 year olds, but numbers show several other groups of people went to see the film.

According to Deadline.com, 37 percent of males and 63 percent of females watched Think Like A Man; 38 percent of that crowd were under 30 and 62 percent were 30 and over.

Seems like the older crowd still needs to know how to play the game!

According to a Sony executive, the movie was only supposed to make between $12 and 13 million and surprisingly made over double the prediction, ending the weekend with $33 million!

Sony’s studio tried to promote the movie to a male audience as well, despite the fact that the plot would probably be more appealing to women.

Deadline.com credits most of the success of the movie to Jeff Blake’s marketing and distribution team, Steve Harvey and Kevin Hart’s social media efforts.

Terrence J Knows How To “Think Like A Man”

However, even though social media definitely helped get people excited about the movie, the numbers themselves tell us that the film is excellent and should be seen regardless of race or sex.

Think Like A Man even beat out the romantic drama The Lucky One, which was also heavily promoted via social media and advertising.

This movie had a fantastic opening weekend at the box office and hopefully will continue to do well in the upcoming weeks.
