Nicki Minaj, hip hop queen of the moment, turns 26 today, Dec. 8th! Born Onika Tanya Maraj in Trinidad and Tobago, the ‘new’ Nicki grew up with her family in Queens, NYC. She is now the go-to gal in Lil Wayne’s Young Money crew.
Nicki frequently shocks and entertains with her crazy getups, hair and makeup and funny faces she makes as she hams it up for the media. She’s also got three alter-egos: Roman Zalanski, Harajuku Barbie and a new one, Nicki Teresa.
Nicki’s debut full length album ‘Pink Friday‘ only just came out and it’s already practically a female rapper classic. In October, Nicki became the first artist to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously!
