The youth is rising!

Fashion has always been a niche for the younger generations, but as of late, the faces of one of the most popular and influential global industries look like they could have came out of an high schoool prom. Lets take a look at some of the young tastemakers that influxed todays fashion industry.

Jourdan Dunn

This British beauty has walked for some of the most famous designers one can imagine. Marc Jacobs, CHECK! Gucci (as seen in above picture), CHECK! Prada (who cast Dunn in their Fall 2008 show, the first model of color they used in like a gazillion years),CHECK! And while she just gave birth to a baby boy this past December, this strutter doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Kudos to her!

Jane Aldridge

I don’t know about you all, but I don’t know many 18-year-olds that get feautred in magazines like Vanity Fair and Teen Vogue, get a Chanel Haute Couture dress designed for them by Karl Lagerfeld himself for your debutant ball, and have a deal to design shoes exclusively for one of the most popular and fashion foward retailers in North America. Then again, not many 18-year-olds are Jane Aldridge, a Texas native with a a big career and an even bigger shoe closet. Her blog Sea Of Shoes spawned her into super success. I would raid that girl’s closet ANYDAY.

Coco & Breezy

They are undoubtly the coolest identical twin fashion designers walking around New York City (besides a certian pair of Olsens). The Minneapolis, Minnesota natives moved to New York, started up their brand, and created a frenzy for their custom made sunglasses that can be seen on celebrities Ciara, Serena Williams, and Ashanti. I think they might have single-handedly made wearing sunglasses at night cool again.

Diggy Simmons

Before ‘Flow Stoopid’ and ‘I Came To Rock’, there was a ‘Life of the Jet Setter’ Diggy Simmons’ popular fashion/culture/lifestyle blog that probed the mind of this trendy teenager. A collection of everything he loved, Diggy’s blog was ‘Young Taste Makers Guide’ to everything he believed was hot. and he was right on point. Fly at Fifteen? Yes sir!

At 17-years-old this Missouri native has been numours editorials for magazines like Vogue and W and has landed campaigns such as Dolce & Gabanna, Christian Dior, and Hermes.
