Who doesn’t love Superman? The guy is literally the “flyest” superhero out there, and it’s not because of his signature red cape.
With powers insurmountable to most other comic book characters and a mild-mannered alter-ego that makes the man of steel seem a little less impervious and more relatable, it’s no surprise that there’s been so many incarnations of Superman films.
And this past weekend, new footage for the upcoming Superman movie set to premiere next summer was presented by director Zack Snyder to an audience of over 6,000 individuals who more than likely imitated D.C.’s number one Kryptonian at some point in their life.
But Superman has become such a cultural icon that his influence has gone past film, and into the world of music. Countless artists have made songs inspired by Superman, and that probably won’t stop anytime soon. GlobalGrind has compiled a list of 15 songs Inspired by Superman.
But you know what, he has had such an impact that even the ladies felt compelled by the insignia for the House of El, in layman’s terms, the S symbol.
