Chad Johnson might find himself between a rock and a hard place right now, but that doesn’t mean a change won’t come. You see, forgiveness is human nature. The Bible, Ephesians 4:32 says:

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

There is hope for all men, even though Ochocinco is having the worst week ever. In his 12-year career he hasn’t had any instances of off the field incidents, but in the last week, he’s been locked up, cut, had his show canceled, and been served divorce papers.

If just one of those things happened to any one of us, it could likely ruin our month and possibly our lives.

But luckily for Chad, despite this, a lot of people still think he’s a stand-up guy. Especially after the last episode of Hard Knocks, which actually showed him getting cut from the team.

His honest apology to the Miami coach, the disappointment in his voice and the visible disappointment in himself spoke volumes to the content of his character. The world will forgive him – they must.

Chad Johnson will have his redemption song. If he continues to do everything right.

Plus, America loves the comeback kid. I doubt that Chad’s career will be defined by this; the guy who put on the yellow jacket, should one day get a yellow jacket. He changed the game.

From the Riverdance, to giving the ball CPR, to putting the football with the pile on, one thing is for sure: Ocho knows how to entertain. Let’s not forget the Hall of Fame Jacket catch, and the equally infamous marriage proposal to a cheerleader that forced the NFL to ban props and over the top celebrations. Chad knows how to have fun.

So while one of his proposals ended in just 41 days of marriage, the phoenix will rise. This goes for life in general because whenever we hit rock bottom; losing our job, the love of our life, or anything else that matters to us dearly, we can only go up from there.

So no matter who you are, Chad Johnson or a Joe Schmo, things will get better. When those unemployment checks stop coming, just prepare for the best and watch greatness happen. Have faith in your higher power and know that this too shall pass, and the sun will shine again.
