Ever since news came out that Kristen Stewart cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson with married director, Rupert Sanders, she has had a tough time recovering.

Rob moved out from their shared mansion in L.A., and she’s been rumored to be staying with a producer friend.

Her ex has also arrived in NYC to do some promo rounds for his upcoming movie Cosmopolis, but Kristen has kept it extremely low-key.

It turns out that we may not hear from her for awhile, or ever, on the situation because she refuses to talk about it.

According to RadarOnline, Kristen does not plan on doing any interviews for her promo runs next month.

The site reports:

“Kristen has been hiding ever since the story of her affair with Rupert broke – and she doesn’t plan on breaking that habit just yet. Unlike Rob, who faced the music and threw himself into promoting his new movie Cosmopolis, Kristen isn’t comfortable with facing a barrage of questions about the cheating scandal.

“Her pals have urged her to follow Robert’s lead and do some interviews for On The Road – just to get it over and done with. The sooner she faces the music, the quicker it will all end and the media glare will fall on someone else.

“However, Kristen is scared. The backlash from her Twilight fans has upset her – she’s lost and doesn’t know what to do.”

While Kristen is fighting the media and staying directly out of the limelight, Rob Pattinson is hearing a mouth full from his friends. Fellow actors Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge are “begging him to end it for good, according to Us Weekly.

The source for the magazine reports:

“They think she will hurt Rob again.”
