It’s a boy!
Giuliana and Bill Rancic have finally welcomed their very first bundle of joy.
Just this morning, the couple announced the birth of their newborn son, Edward Duke Rancic, at 7 pounds and 4 ounces!
Bill posted the news of his new fatherhood, tweeting:
The new addition to the family was born at 10:12 pm Wednesday night in Denver, with both parents live and direct in the delivery room.

The couple has struggled with infertility, miscarriages and Giuliana’s battle with breast cancer and announced they chose to go the route of a gestational surrogate to start their family.
Now overjoyed, the new mom exclusively told E! News:
“Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!”‘

The site also reports that the entire birth was smooth sailing and lasted only four hours. According to E!:
They couldn’t hold back tears of joy the moment their son was born. The Rancics told us they were beyond elated and couldn’t believe their journey to become parents is finally complete.
Bill cut the umbilical cord minutes after the baby was born, and Giuliana was the first to hold her son for a long while, then gave him to Bill to embrace. The new parents both fed their baby, who they say had a big appetite, and share with us that he is doing incredibly well and has had his first bath.
