Last night was Day 1 of Jay-Z’s first annual Made In America Festival, and it’s safe to say that it was surely a night to remember.

The series of concerts started off with a bang, with artists like Philly native Meek Mill and the rest of the MMG clan amping the crowd up with bangers such as “House Party” and “Amen.”

Following was a surprise guest, which was listed as “To Be Determined” on the shows roster. And itturned out to be none other than Jay Electronica. Electronica officially let the crowd know his album was finally on the way and also announced his first single will feature Chris Brown! Yup… you read that right!

Most of his set being acapella, the crowd rejoiced.

The fans made sure to stay on their feet, since it was a packed house for the headlining man they came to see, Jay-Z! Jigga called on one of his good pals to add something special to his set, President Barack Obama. A pre-recorded message from the president hit the screen, commending Jay and asking the audience to vote in this year’s upcoming election.

Of course Jigga didn’t stand on the stage alone the whole night.

With a little help from his friends, Jay tore Philly down reuniting with his old Rocafella State Property team!

Freeway, Young Guns’ Neef and Young Chris aswell as Oschino, Omillio, and Peedi Crakk all came out to perform “What We Do” and had the crowd urging for more.

The reunion certainly got people talking and the show was taken to another level when Jay left the stage to let his partner in crime, Kanye West take over. Yeezy and the G.O.O.D music crew, including Big Sean, Common, Pusha T  and affiliate 2 Chainz performed their hits and the gang closed out the night with their smash hit “Mercy” as well as other hits such as “I Don’t Like (Remix)”

It may have seemed like the show was finally over but Jigga man couldn’t leave his fans without performing The Throne’s number 1 hit “Ni**as In Paris” for a proper conclusion.

It was a night that will go straight to the history books!

Today is the second day of the festival and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us!
