Nasty Nas and Ms. L-Boogie, aka Lauryn Hill, announced today that they’re hitting the road together for their “Life Is Good/Black Rage” tour.

Despite Lauryn’s legal troubles, the “Ex-Factor” songstress is still hitting the road with her good friend Nas. The tour kicks off in Columbia, Maryland on October 6 without Lauryn, but Ms. Hill joins the party five shows later in Dallas, Texas on October 29.

The tour raps on New Year’s Eve in Nas’ hometown, New York City, for an encore show at Radio City Music Hall. Of the 18 tour stops, unfortunately, Lauryn Hill will only perform in 10 cities.

When asked about her reasoning behind the tour, Lauryn said:

“I use the performance platform as an opportunity to express the energy of that moment, and the intention behind it. I’ve been a long standing rebel against the stale, over commoditization. As artists we have opportunity to help the public evolve, raise consciousness and awareness, teach, heal, enlighten and inspire in ways the democratic process may not be able to touch. So we keep it moving.”
