Last Saturday, staff workers for Republican Senator Scott Brown hit a low point, mocking Brown’s senatorial opponent Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s Native American ethnicity.

The staffers chanted Indian “war whoops” and made “tomahawk chops” during a rally for Brown, which seem to be a direct jab at Warren’s claims that she is of Cherokee descent.

Seen participating in the derogatory rally is Brown’s Deputy Chief of Staff, his Constituent Service Counsel, State Director, special assistant and GOP operative.

When asked about the insulting video, Brown responded by turning the tables on Warren, and said that she is actually the person offending people:

“It is certainly something that I don’t condone. The real offense is that [Warren] said she was white and then checked the box saying she is Native American, and then she changed her profile in the law directory once she made her tenure.”

Earlier this week, Brown premiered a new television ad attacking Warren’s Native American heritage, and he also criticized her claim last Thursday at their first senatorial debate.

It’s a shame that Senator Brown has resorted to race politics in order to keep his seat in the Senate!
