The Grammy-award winning singer was honored at the State Department for her work against global hunger.
Aguilera’s achievements through her work as a United Nations World Food Program Ambassador Against Hunger, was honored as part of the 11th annual George McGovern Leadership Award in Washington D.C.
The ceremony concluded with a special tribute to Xtina from Clinton, as well as a roundtable discussion between Aguilera, CEO of Yum! Brands Inc. David Novak and U.S. Agency for International Development administrator Raj Shah.
Aguilera raised nearly $115 million for the United Nation’s World Food Program and other international hunger relief organizations since 2007.
