Bow Wow has been more or less off the radar in the past few years, and it looks like it might not have done him much good financially.

Before finally landing the spot as an official host of BET’s 106 & Park, the 25-year-old rapper told a child custody judge he was only getting $4,000 a month in income.

According to TMZ, he also has some back payments due on a car he leased in 2008!

The site reports:

B.W. leased a 2005 Ferrari F430 back in 2008.  It didn’t take long for the rapper to fall behind, because in February, 2009, the leasing company sued him and got a judgment for $216,084 … oh, and 75 cents.

Since getting the judgment, the leasing company has been on the hunt for payment, using a collection agent to track down Bow Wow.

Mr. Wow never paid, and now with interest the judgment has swelled to $283,785 … oh, and 13 cents.
Bow Wow told the custody judge he only had $1,500 in his bank account and leases a jeep.

It sounds like Bow is in pretty deep, so maybe it’s a blessing that he landed a spot as a host of 106 & Park.

We can’t wait to see Bow Wow do his thing on the show, and we hope he can get himself out of this financial crisis.
