Karl Lagerfeld just doesn’t know how to stop himself from word vomit; especially when it comes to commentary on the weight of other people.

STORY: Adele Fires Back At Karl Lagerfeld: “I Never Wanted To Look Like Models”

First the designer attacked Adele for her weight earlier in the year, saying that she was “a little too fat,” and now the filter-less Lagerfeld is back at it again, this time talking about junk food and anorexia.

STORY: Karl Lagerfeld Says A Little Too Much About Adele Being A Little Too Fat

When asked if he feels a responsibility to make clothes for healthier models, Karl took the conversation to new heights:

I’m sorry to say it’s a subject that I consider on the bar of ridiculous for several reasons. The story with anorexic girls–nobody works with anorexic girls. It has nothing to do with fashion. People who have that, they have issues with family and things like this.

There are less than 1% of an girls [who are] anorexic, but in France over 30% of girls are big overweight. And that is much more dangerous and very bad for the health. So I think today with the junk food in front of the TV and things like that is something dangerous for the health or to girls. The models are skinny but they’re not that skinny.

So let’s get this right Karl, anorexic girls are not in fashion; instead they are at home having trouble with their parents? Give us a break, the models ARE that skinny, and for someone who has seen his days on the heavier side of the fence, we figured Lagerfeld would have learned his lessons about body image ages ago.
