Jessica Simpson’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, have officially filed for divorce!
PEOPLE reports the split, and a rep has spoken to the magazine on behalf of the famous family.

The rep’s statement reads:
“It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.”
Sometimes marriages simply don’t work out and it looks as though that’s what’s going on in this situation.
