Larry Flynt, the publisher of X-rated magazine Hustler, has put up a $1 million offer to Richard Mourdock if he can prove that his anti-abortion stance in the case of rape is indeed backed by God’s intent.

STORY: Not This Again! Republican Says “God Intended” Life From Rape

In a full-page ad, which is running in today’s Indianapolis Star, Flynt challenged the comments that the Republican U.S. Senate candidate made about rape last week. During a Senate debate, the Tea Party candidate denounced abortion rights in the cases of rape and incest, explaining that the life created during rape is something that “God intended.”

“I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God. And, I think, even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen,” said Mourdock.

Soon thereafter, Mourdock doubled down on his rape beliefs, declaring that he “spoke from his heart” and “cannot apologize” for the controversial statement during a press conference.

Determined to make Mourdock prove that rape pregnancies are a “part of God’s will,” Flynt is giving him up until November 8 to provide proof through a “verifiable transcript of your personal conversations with God; letters, email, text messages or videos from God, or messages addressed to you from God transmitted by any third party, including the Republican National Committee or the Romney/Ryan campaign,” reads the ad.
