In times of need, you can always count on your favorite hip-pop stars to gather around and give a helping hand.

This Friday, NBC will air a telethon for Hurricane Sandy victims. The telethon will be called Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together and it will feature appearances from notable acts like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting and Christina Aguilera.

LIST: Salute! The Heroes Of Hurricane Sandy

With the exception of Sting, performers on the bill have obvious ties to the East Coast, which was hit the hardest by Sandy. Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi rep Jersey hard; Christina Aguilera was born in Staten Island and Billy Joel is a Long Island boy.

Also, expect appearances from Jimmy Fallon, the host of NBC’s Late Night, Brian Williams, the anchor of NBC Nightly News, and Today’s Matt Lauer, who will be hosting the show.

DETAILS: Christina Aguilera Offered $3 Milli To Flaunt Her Big Girl Curves!

The show will air on NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA, and streamed live on NBC.com, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST. The money raised will head straight to the American Red Cross.
