Leave it to the French to resurrect MIA once again.
The eccentric songstress has been laying low for quite a large portion of this year after flipping America the bird during the Super Bowl, making select red carpet appearances, and covering Paper Magazine. But it looks like she is making a comeback just in time to do rounds for the March release of her new album.

MIA is the face of the January 2013 issue of French publication Jalouse, draped in golds and furs in deep red hues.
According to Jalouse, in the interview, MIA speaks of the Hindu deity whose name she bore without knowing until an unexpected discovery on Google, where she uncovered many similarities between herself and the goddess.
