According to what sources told TMZ, Liam Hemsworth approached a dude outside a bar.
The Hunger Games star accused the man of throwing rocks at him and his friend. Something happened and things escalated to the video you see above, of Liam wailing on a dude on the ground.
Luckily police got to the scene before things could get more out of hand.
TMZ landed footage of the (one-sided) fight and they also got some footage of the dude who got his ass beat talking about the incident.
