Slate has released a shocking infographic that tallies up how many people have been killed with guns since the Dec. 14, 2012 Newtown, Conn. massacre.

And that number rivals how many people have been killed in the murder capital city of Chicago in a year!

The gun-death tally is reported to be 695 across America.
