According to Gawker, the show is based off All Dressed Up And Everywhere To Go, the upcoming memoir by long-time personal shopper for Bergdorf Goodman, Betty Halbreich.

Dunham will not only be starring in the series, she will be assisting in the writing process.

As if that’s not enough of a recipe for TV success, Hollywood funny-man Judd Apatow will also be signing on as an executive producer of the show – he already works with Lena on GIRLS.

Right now it’s too early to tell when the series will be released, but GIRLS was just signed on for a third season, so Lena should be incredibly busy!

We’re excited at the prospect of another Lena-written show, but shopping memoirs sounds very different from broke Brooklyn GIRLS!

Will you be tuning in?
