J. Crew showed their Fall 2013 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and we have to admit: they can do no wrong!

J.Crew doesn’t take too many chances with their collection, however they always manage to stay current.

Unlike other brands that showed during this fashion week, J.Crew had both men’s and women’s collections on display. We say display because the presentation was less of a runway show and more models lined up against the walls on either side of the room wearing the best pieces from Fall ’13.

The women’s collection saw a lot of printed fabrics, and there were definitely a few Celine references with J.Crew’s own little twist. The Men’s collection was perfect for the “Ivy League” look that J.Crew has mastered.

Check out some of our favorite looks from J.Crew’s Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in the gallery above.

Trends spotted: Mixed prints, Prep, pops of color

Faces in the front row: Kyle Anderson, Jim Moore

Our rating: We liked everything. From the mixing of patterns to the brightly colored suits and sweaters, the collection worked well together and there were pieces for every wardrobe.

Our favorite look: (Womens) Mixed patterned jacket, burgundy sweater & hat combination with orange pants and gold shoes (Mens) Black pea coat with leather piecing, “New York” sweater white khakis and black oxford shoes
