Remember the stripper who allegedly accused three Duke University lacrosse players of raping her in 2006? Well, she’s back in news headlines after murdering her boyfriend.

DETAILS: BUSTED! 5 Suspects Arrested In Connection With Gang Rape In Mexico

Crystal Mangum, who was a student at North Carolina Central University during the rape allegations, has been released on bond to await trial for the fatal stabbing of Reginald Daye.

Mangum was released from Durham County jail on Wednesday where she has been held since 2011, according to police.

The 34-year-old mother is representing herself in court, saying she killed Daye in self-defense. It wasn’t immediately clear who posted her $200,000 bond.

Back in 2011, the three men accused of raping Mangum were declared innocent by North Carolina’s attorney general after Mangum’s story crumbled and her mental stability was called into question.

The Durham prosecutor who championed her case was later disbarred.

We wonder what Crystal’s fate will be now that she’s facing this case…and representing herself at that!
