Now another judge is actually praising and applauding the woman for her good behavior. Believe it!
The South Florida teen who was jailed after flipping off a Miami-Dade judge was back in court this week for her arraignment, which went a little better this time around.
Penelope Soto, 18, entered a written not guilty plea on a drug possession charge. The court clapped it up for her as the judge praised her on her progress since the infamous bird-flipping.
She also tearfully apologized for the incident. In fact, Soto didn’t even complete the 30 days that the original judge gave her for the bird, instead, she did five and was sent to a drug court program. Her attorney said earlier this week that she’s been clean and has been following the program.
