Heads up!

DETAILS: Rollin’ In The Deep! 74 Students Arrested In Drug bust At Alabama College

It’s no secret that drug trafficking is famous in Mexico. Mexican drug smugglers have used cars, boats, and grandmothers to get their products across the border. Now, they are using an air-powered cannon that fires bags of drugs into the air and across state lines.

Authorities have found pickup trucks with a total of 85 pounds of marijuana, valued at $42,500 American dollars. No arrests have been made.

Drug dealers place the cannon on the bed of their pickup trucks. The device is operated with a compressor attached to the truck. Once launched, the recipients that on state lines are to retrieve the drugs and make sales.

United States border and customs agents were unaware of the cannons, but amazed at their creation.

Special operations supervisor for the Joint Field Command Arizona of U.S Customs and Border Protection said, “Well, I’ve been in law enforcement for over 20 years and it seems like within the last five to ten years they have gotten really, really creative in how they bring their drugs across. This is the first one that I’ve seen. They was actually a pretty good one.”

The launched drugs, approximately shot 500 feet in the air, were never retrieved by the Colorado River. It is assumed that authorities were in the area and drug dealers were forced to abandon their packages.

Whoever said drug dealers don’t evolve with the times, lied!
