Even though Boosie is facing a sentence of eight years behind bars – due to drug charges that stem from the rapper supposedly smuggling drugs into prison – he has done something that deserves a couple handclaps and then some: graduating from the Angola State Prison GED program.
In the picture above, you get a chance to witness the Baton Rouge native in a blue cap and gown for a graduation ceremony, with his family right there to share in his big moment.

As far as when Lil Boosie will ever be free, the new GED recipient could be eligible for parole as early as this summer.
