Last night, Warner Bros. Records were the talk of Austin. The record company’s annual Warner Sound showcase went down and it was a doozy.
Notable acts like Rockie Fresh and Action Bronson tore the stage down on behalf of Warner. But, let’s be clear here: the audience was there to see Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the Seattle-based rap/DJ duo that’s been taking over the charts with their number one hit single “Thrift Shop.”
Of course, the two performed “Thrift Shop,” but they also performed other notable cuts from their album The Heist.
There’s a camera everywhere you go nowadays, so audience members were able to capture some of the very best moments.
Also, DJ Skee was in the house and he caught some cool footage of their performance.
Check Skee’s video up top and the audience members’ clips below.
