It’s not every day a young lady gets a complimenting text from Andre 3000 but JoJo is one lucky lady!
The singer recently professes her love for a guy like the Outkast man, on her single “Andre” and the video for the track has been creating some buzz. So much so it’s found it’s way to the man himself and he decided to hit Jo Jo up.
Rap Up caught up with Jo at the “Love Is Heroic” benefit in Hollywood and she was still reveling in the moment. On the experience she reveals:
“I got a text from friggin’ André 3000. I couldn’t believe it,”
She continues:
“Flying Lotus sent him the video and he was like, ‘This was one of the coolest compliments I’ve ever got.’ I can’t believe it! I definitely bugged out, almost peed in my pants.”

The 22 year old gushed over 3 Stacks, saying:
“He is the exact type of man that I’m singing about in the song, someone who does his own thing and is unapologetically who they are.”
