What better way to celebrate a sweet 16 than with a lavish party at the top of New York City’s Standard Hotel? We can’t seem to think of one.
Well, that is exactly what iconic indie cultural guide PAPER Magazine did to celebrate their 16th annual Beautiful People issue last night in the Meatpacking District

This year marked the 16th anniversary of the Beautiful People Issue, and in collaboration with NJOY the magazine threw a Sweet 16 themed bash to celebrate.
As if the sweet 16 inspired ambiance complete with a cupcake display and endless champagne wasn’t enough, the event featured a special live performance from UK singing sensation and this year’s Beautiful People cover-girl Jessie Ware with a special DJ set by electronic DJ/Producer DJ Mess KID.

On the scene enjoying the festivities were a bevy of artists, tastemakers and of course creatives that ranged from Cory Kennedy to Melanie Fiona, and Maxwell Osborne of Public School.
