This summer is going to be crazy for movie fans everywhere. But with blockbusters galore, it’s easy to overlook movies released the same day as big name flicks. So here’s Global Grind’s guide to the movies we must see, and the sleppers we should sneak into as well.

MAY 14

Blockbuster: Robin Hood
Russell Crowe
, Cate Blanchett

Russel Crowe is back in a big way. Playing an archer who seeks revenge for his slain father, by rebelling against a tyrant king and becomes the legend known as Robin Hood. Cate Blanchett plays a fiesty love interest. Judging by the trailer, it looks like 300 in the medieval times. Lots of arrows flying, beach fights, sexual tension and of course a subliminal moral. Classic bockbuster material.

Sleeper: Just Wright
Queen Latifah
, Common

With all the hype of Robin Hood, Just Wright can be overshadowed. Another accidental love story about a physical therapist (Queen Laitfah) who nurses injured basketball superstar (Common) and of course falls in love. Its a combo of Love and Basketball and Two Weeks Notice. Though its been done time and time again, everyone loves a good comedy romance.

MAY 21

Blockbuster: MacGruber
Will Forte
, Kristen Wiig

Reject special operative MacGruber is called back to take down his archenemy, Dieter who has  a nuclear warhead and bent on making Washington, D.C. ash. So SNL made this skit a movie and it looks like it’s going to be crazy The trailer alone is hilarious.
