The rapper and his signature cornrows has been catching press for his rhymes, but lately everyone wants Rocky in something fashion related. And when he can finesse a spread like this, do you blame them?

Gentleman’s Quarterly tapped the rapper to assume the role of a fashionable sailor for their May issue, where he showed off some of the hottest sailor-inspired summer looks for men, and revealed a little about where his passion for these photo shoots came from.
“I wanted to model when I was younger,” he says. “I was always into clothes and shit.” It’s a fact that’s constantly reinforced by his lyrics (Drop-crotch Jeremy Scott pants, bitch it’s Hammer time) and by menswear blogs that practically worship him. “I’m the man on those things,” Rocky gloats. “I don’t really look at them. Well, I guess I do, but only when I’m looking at myself. I inspire me.”
Way to keep it humble, Rocky.
