Rachel Roy is a renaissance woman.
She is a mother, a designer and like many people who are able to give back, she’s a true philanthropist. After taking a trip to India with her daughter and seeing the issues the poor were having firsthand, Rachel devised a plan to help give back.
Together with her good friend Lauren Bush Lauren, Rachel helped design a bag for the FEED Project, which helps get food to impoverished areas around the globe.
Rachel participated in the design of a FEED Bag, and while most people would kill for a bag designed by the creative goddess, it serves for a much greater good. Each FEED bag sold feeds 100 people – so the buyer gets an amazing bag and donates to a great cause in the process.
Knowing that you could change the lives of 100 people for just $78 is mind blowing. Have a look at Rachel and her daughter’s trip to India that inspired the project in the video below. Do your part and purchase the bag for yourself or as a gift by heading over to Rachel Roy’s website here.
